Theatre

The company Movin On S. L. was back to Valverde. Last thursday, May 18, the play "Change the Channel" at the city theatre. Our students enjoyed very much the play and some of them participated actively in the play. They made a really brilliant performance which can be seen in the videos below.

Big Challenge 2017

As every year, the Big Challenge Contest is being held in our school. This competition is designed to evaluate the knowledge of the English language and of English speaking countries. The tests are being taken by our ESO students. Soon, we will know thw winners and their positions in the region.

Culture Talk

Burlington Books has given a really interesting talk about British culture to our 1st Bachillerato students. They have learned about the British symbols, such as the flag or why people drive on the left in the UK. The students have enjoyed the experience and some of them have received a present after participating in the talk. As you can see in the pictures, there have been some hilarious moments.

One Way Ticket - Theatre

Last Friday (May 20), our 3th ESO, 4th ESO and 1 Bachillerato enjoyed the play "One Way Ticket" by Moving On, SL. We shared this experience with the another secondary school of the town in the local theatre. Some students were required to take part in the play as you can see below.
The actors encouraged the students to participate in the play in English. To catch their attention, they moved freely through the seats. The play was full of songs and gags that were easily understood.
